Has anyone had multiple sets of identical twins, or know anyone who has had 2 or more sets of identical twins? I had identical twin girls 9/18/01 but lost one at birth due to TTTs. I am due in June 2004 and am anxiously awaiting for my appt. on Friday for an U/S to see if we are having twins again.

Thank you.

Molly

I certainly do. My wife and I have a set of identical girls that are closing in on their third birthday, and have identical boys that are 5 months old. We are having a blast, but extremely busy as is everyone that is posting messages on this site.

Trying to figure out the odds on two sets of identical twins. I saw some stats. on the internet that said the odds were 1:70,000, butI also did a google search and found an article about a woman in pakistan that did and the stats by an american doctor said the odds were 1: 500,000 births. The last figure sounds more realistic to me, because you don't come accross too many identical twins in ones lifetime, let alone two sets from the same family. If anyone has info., shoot me a message. Good luck all.
