My daughters turn 13 in March. One minute they are fighting the next they are best friends. Do all twins go through the love you/hate you thing? Can anyone recommend a good book regarding twin teenagers? Thank you!

My daughters are almost 11 and they have an average 50 mood swings a day. I was hoping that it was just the age, but from what I am reading it's not. Last year they got into a cat fight over a gumball...A GUMBALL !!! I was not there for the first 15 minutes, but sister-in-law said that she couldn't stop it so she sent them to their room and would punish " the winner". They sounded like banshees. I tried several times to break it up, even seperated them, but they kept going at it. After 1 hour, they were tired and couldn't remember why they were fighting. It's horrible!!! For some reason I did't thik GIRLS would fight like this. I have 2 older boys that are 18 mo. apart and they don't fight that bad.
