Hi Everyone, I am a first time mom of 10 month old boy/girl twins. It has been quite the year! I had a pretty uneventful pregnancy but I did end up going into pre-term labor 8 weeks early and having Carter and Natalie at 35 weeks. Since then I have been very busy and am learning new things everyday. I am interested in hearing other people's stories and meeting other parents of twins. I's hard for me to get out to the Mother of Twins meetings in my town so I thought I would try here! Hope to hear from you soon!
Jean

Hi Jean-
Welcome and congrats on your twins!

Like you, I had a fairly uneventful pregnancy, and delivered my b/g at 36 weeks, 5 days.

That first year is such a roller coaster, and so far, the fun and challenge continues to age three!!!

Please feel free to email me any time if thre isn't oo much action here on the boards, cheryl@twinsights.com, or you can get me via the site I host, www.Twinsights.com.

Again, all the best, and enjoy those little cuties!
They get so big so fast!

Hi folks,

I have 10 month old identical girls, Jasmine and Kira. My pregnancy with them was good and I went to 37 weeks. Right now, both girls have six teeth and are wriggling around like crazy but have not started crawling. I am a stay at home mom and I'm facing a new challenge with my girls. I've noticed recently that when both babies want me to hold them, the one I don't hold starts to throw a temper tantrum! I always respond to the baby I don't pick up by telling her what I am doing and that I will be right back to pick her up which I think helps. But I'm a little perplexed that both infants are starting throw temper tantrums at 10 months old! Has anybody else had this experience and what do you do when it happens? I'm wondering if part of their frustration is that their minds are developing faster than their ability to explore their world (i.e. crawl). Any advice?

Georgina

Hihi

I'm a first time mother and had identical twingirls on januar 25th 2004. They came 5 weeks early and were 46cm and about 5 pounds. So they are 11 months old now. My pregnancy was sadly not uneventfull. My morning sickness was there 24 hours a day from 6th week until delivery. And every where I went, I got to know the toilet alot better than I wanted to. And I had all kinds of problems, dehydration, not enough nutrition, high bloodpressure and so on. But luckily the girls are healthy and have grown so fast I cant believe it. They are crawling, trying to stand up, have made it to standing on their knees, and have discovered that they can kind of walk like that, and thus always falling.
