My twin boys are 20 mo. old and I am really ready to wean, but they are not! I mostly nurse at night. They need the night nursing to fall asleep and to go back to sleep when they wake during the night. During the day when they want to nurse I usually am able to redirect their attentions to another activity. I have an older son, 9 yrs old,and a daughter 5 yrs. old and I nursed them also. I weaned them at 20 mo. and 18 mo. I had this same problem with each of them, but with one baby it was easier to comfort them and handle the tantrum that ensued when I weaned. With 2 screaming boys I just cant do it!!Please offer any advice! thanks.
