I have 15 year old identical twin boys who have their learner's permits. Our state (Georgia) does not let 16 year olds with a new driver's license have unrelated passengers in the car for the first 6 months.

While I think this is a good rule, I'm wondering whether I should let my two boys ride together when they get their licenses. They are good kids, but at times they sure can get silly with each other. I'm thinking this would be a big distraction when driving. They can't have other friends in the car with them, so why should they have each other - they are good friends, too!

Let them drive together, but supervise their behavior. In ways they both can be helpful to each other, mainly because they are going through it together. But its up to, just supervise them at first.
