Hi everyone! I am new to this, but I was wonderring if someone had any thoughts on my situation... I have 4-yr-old identical girls and would love to have a boy (or another girl--husband is in need of some testosterone in the house!). When my girlies were 2 I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks. I thought, hey--I carried 2--no worries for this pregnancy. And then, without warning, the baby was gone. I am terrified of going through that again, but I (we) want it so badly!! I was lucky in one respect: my girlies weren't old enough to have to explain anything (I hadn't really told themn much anyway). Now, my husband has mentioned baby stuff to them and they ask every day if I have a baby in my tummy yet. They are definitely old enough to ask questions--ALOT of questions--should I get pregnant and something happen. I really thought that being a working mom of well-behaved beautiful twins made me a SUPERMOM, but I guess I'm as human as the next mommy. I don't know what I'm expecting to accomplish by posting this, but I think writing it helps a little. Is it true that after 1 set of multiples, the odds go up? What are the chances now that I've had another single pregnancy? I don't think twins would scare me now--Oh, my--what do you do with more than that? At least with 2, you have 2 hands!! :-)
