hi i have 17 month old identical twin boys. they seem to have developed their own language which only they understand. this seems fine at the moment but i'm wondering if this continues when i should start to get help?

Mine did the same thing, but did outgrow it once they learned more words. They could go on and on chatting amongst one another.

Twins are known to "speak" to each other before they will speak to you. This is just one of the reasons that twins have delayed speech. It is perfectly normal and they will start speaking your language soon enough.
