Hello Jamie:This is my first time on this BB. My husband and I are very blessed to have 19 month old identical twin girls. I just read your post and I was cringing. You have a 9 month old baby and now you are actually TRYING to have twins?? My encouragement is just let God be God and if you get pregnant with twins, then so be it. I can tell you right now that no one realizes how difficult a multiple pregnancy is and how difficult it is to take care of two babies until you're there. The sleep deprivation alone will almost drive you insane!! It is very stressful on the entire household. When I was pregnant with my twins, I had four older children -- ages 2, 5, 8, and 11. My two oldest were a great help to me because I had to rest alot. I still had to change diapers on the 2 yr old, but he was a doll and he would nap with me every day. What I'm saying is, it was difficult for me and I had help and my youngest was 2 yrs. old. You have a 9 month old and your body is still trying to recover from having that one. I personally would not try to have twins. As far as whether any of those things you listed actually help, I have no idea. I have never heard of that. Please don't misunderstand me -- I am grateful that I have my twins and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. But what I'm saying is that having multiple babies is more difficult that you can imagine, and especially if you already have an infant. But I pray that God's will be done in your life, whatever that is. -------------------- Karen
