Hi everyone I'm new here,

When I was real young I was adopted around the age of 4 or 5. I was born on April 17, 1982 at 10:56 pm in Saint Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I've been told numerous times that I look familiar by people I don't even know in the store. I look so close to my brother John that it's funny. My teacher even thought the pic. of my brother was me one time. But I was wondering how I can find out if I have an identical twin that was separated from me possibly at birth. I know it seems way out there but do you think it's possible? My real name now is Lisa Poort. Mona Lisa Reed was my birth name. Do any of you know of cases where the twins were separated at birth? If so, how did they find each other and is it possible for the doctors to hide the truth from the parent or is that illegal? I haven't talked to my birth mom about that yet but I think she would have told me by now if she knew. Well thanks for your help! Also I feel things that sometimes I can't explain. I feel pain sometimes when I have no reason for feeling pain. I was born by c-section as was my whole family. There's five of us that I know of. Please get back to me when you can! My email is diary13@hotmail.com or cutiepieus2024@aol.com

Sincerely,

Lisa M. Poort

It's fairly unlikely, but have people called you by a different name? That's a clue.
