My brother Mark wasn't my best friend. He got along with my triplet sister better. They both liked to get into trouble. Mark liked drugs, girls, and alcohol. I loved him with all my heart. I really did. At times he could be a great guy. He always watched out for my sister and I. I didn't like the choices he made in life, but I loved him nonetheless.

Mark killed himself in the woods about a mile from our apartment. A little kid found him there and started spreading rumors that it was a drug deal gone bad. The truth was that Mark wasn't high or drunk, just depressed. I missed all the warning signs. He died in 1995 when I was 17 years old. He is buried next to my dad at Ft. Snelling Cemetery in MN. I miss you Mark. We all do.

If I could offer any advice...don't take for granted the twin/triplet relationship you have. One day they might not be here and you will feel like you are missing an arm or a leg. You will feel like your heart was cut from you. You will feel like you can't breath or function anymore. Do all you can to let your sister/brother know that you love them every day. We all day will die, but atleast you will know that you did everything to let your twin or triplet know that you cared.

Thanks for listening.
