TO any one interested in analyzing their relatioinship with their twin I would like to interview you.

The interview will be a simple questionare that shouldn't take more than 5 min, I can either email it to you or we can do it on the phone or through AIM.

I would like to have the interviews completed by sunday the 10th.

Here is the assignment I have been given:
Develop a set of interview questions to learn about the experience of being a twin (e.g., being confused, dressing alike, separating in school, sharing, competing, cooperating, relationship with twin, relationships with other family members, friends, and dates). Then, interview 3 twins (preferably one of identicals, one of same sex fraternals, and one of different sex fraternals).

This will greatly help me because this is the only way I can interview twins.

Contact me at samwall@umich.edu if you are interested

I've just joined this site and tonite i read a message about half identical twins. Well i know of a especial strange case. I know a woman who was in her late teens when she had a set of twins in the early 90's. She had always said she thought her twins were half identical because their placenta was fused together is what the hospital pathologist had reported after the birth. Well the buck of strange things doesn't stop there. The twins look alike except twin1 was and is about 5-6inches shorter than twin2 and twin1 was 9 ounces smaller. Then the mother goes on to say that she thinks they have 2 different fathers because of their size and height difference and their teeth, plus she was having an affair with her half first cousin on her mothers side, her mother also later admitted to the mother of these twins that she 2 had had an affair with her full 1st cuz on her fathers side. My ? is when 2 people are related and they reproduce and the child of the reproduction reproduces with a related person whom happens to maybe doublely related to each other such as in these case, could dna solve these strange set of ??? Because not only does the twins mother in these case know that she is for sure the possible father is her half 1st cuz but now she knows there is a possibility that the father in question is also her 3rd full cuz and then you throw in the mix of if the twins are identical or not and their dna and genes. Because if these were all proven doesn't that make the twins the mothers daughters and half second cuz and full 4th cuz, therefore dna with the use of the mother and children might not be able to excluded her relative as that father, i would think? So the best test for her and these children would be using the dna obtainted from her husband at the time who was not related to her. any responce to these message would be of great ensight to these womans ? and mine. ty
