Does anyone have any brainy ideas on how to get 2 year olds (almost 3) to GO TO BED?? We have tried everything. They don't get naps in the afternoon anymore and they are exhausted about 4-5PM. We keep them up with the hope that by 8PM they will crash, however by 8PM you would think we have been letting them drink coffee. We would appreciate any ideas.

you should make them take naps (the less sleep they get during the day the hyper they get at night) and if you can't make them take naps, then you should put them to bed whenever they are tired (even if that means that you have to put them to sleep at 5pm) try giving them bath before going to sleep (that relaxes them)
good luck

What time do they sleep to if you put them to bed at 5pm?Both partners work shifts so it might not be practical.
