I was wondering if there are people out there who were born as twins but lost their sibling before birth. Technically you're not born as twins, but...well, my notions of life before birth are fuzzy now that my mother's been good enough to tell me that I was supposed to be twins.

For years I have felt an indescribable sense of lacking...of being not all there with no one to talk to about it because the sense is so encompassing, yet vague.

It feels like I've been living the life of a beta with no alpha. It still doesn't quite make sense to me, but I haven't known many twins.

Does someone else have any insight?
